Germany Journey -- Tubingen

Tubingen is one of the most beautiful cities I have visited. Whole city mix up with modem building and Middle Ages feature. Tubingen is famous in Universities. If you want to know the detail of Tubingen, check it out in the wikipedia below

The first place I visit here is a big church which is called St. – Johannes-Kirche. My friend told me, there are two kind of church in Germany, one is colorful, full of decorations and another is more serious, not that much color and decorations. I guess this church belongs to the second one.

When I enter the church, it gives me a feeling which is serious and sacrosanct. Ceiling is tall and elaborate, chairs arrange neat and tidy, altar place in front of the church, and all windows have colorful painting.

I stay in the church for a while and feel the religion as I'm a Catholic.

After that, I go to the town hall and open market. The town hall of Tubingen is an old building which was founded in middle ages. You can see some painting on the wall, this is the fashion at that time.

Town Hall I'm not a historian, I can't tell very well why they have such kind of fashion, but the painting is very nice for me.

In this city even in whole Germany, you can see a lot of flower, flower is everywhere!!

walking in street is also one kind of enjoyment.

I have to talk about the castle here. There is an old castle which is locates in a small hill. When you walk into the castle, you can see the view of whole Tubingen. It’s so amazing!!

My favourite place here is Neckar and a small park next to it. The small park has a lot of green and beautiful grassland and trees.

Enjoy an whole afternoon sunshine, reading or have a small picnic here. How beautiful it is. You can choose to travel Neckar by boat, it costs 5 euro for a student. Sitting on the boat, enjoy the sunshine, listen to the boatman talk about the river and history of Tubingen (but it's in German). Sometime you could see some wild animals pass by the boat. When you look at the river, you even can see some fish in the bottom of the river!!!

I’ve already been to Germany for 1 month and have been to serial cities. Those cities are really fantastic. Furtwangen is the city where I’m living right now. My university here is called Hochshule Furtwangen University!!!

Here, the public transport isn't very convenient, no train station and I need to take bus to other city. The bus service is not like Macau, if I miss one bus, I properly need to wait one more hour to another.

I'm living in the student dorm. right now. The view of my room is quite nice, but I need to walk 15 mins to school. My dorm. is in a hill, I need to hike everyday before i go back to my room :(.

I have a strange habit :-). Everytime when I need to pay, I used to time the price to 10, because the exchange rate between Euro and MOP is around 1:10. That make me think everything is expensive in Germany!!!

here is 23:49, 2008,9,8 last day in Macau. I need to take the flight to Frankfurt tomorrow at 13:30 and start my new semester in Germany. Everything seen ready, my shoes, my stuff, my suitcase and of coz me.
Here i really want to thank you all of my fds. thanks for their care and their nice sentence for my departure.
I know i'm such a lucky person. I got chance to see many new thing. even now, i still can't believe myself. I will in Germany tomorrow. haha, funny, funny, that is the first time i go aboard, but i guess i learn sth. here. if u want it, u really need to believe u can get it.

okay, it's already 11 days remain here, my feeling is quite complicate, exacting, wondering and full of curious, but of coz a bit nervous. Anyway, i gonna throw it away and enjoy my last few day here. What i want to do is shout loudly "Germany, I'm coming, wahaha"(a bit silly ha).
by the way, my sister is going to Taiwan tomorrow!!! Wish she luck and everything gonna be fine!!
Will leave my family soon, guess I will miss my lovely family so much. Mid-Autumn festival will be the first Chinese festival I’m not staying with my family, will enjoy it in Germany, it sound cool~~
